WHY I DO THIS
Four generations in uniform. This is how I give back.
I come from a military family, a great-grandfather who served in World War I, a grandfather in World War II, and a father, stepfather and uncle who also served. I grew up overseas on military bases, witnessing firsthand the sacrifices service members and their families make.
The military community became my family away from home, and I always wanted to give back to it. That's a major part of why I joined the military as a mental-health provider, and why this practice exists.
